The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) invites Health First Colorado members to a virtual webinar about upcoming changes to Non-Emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT).
NEMT is the Health First Colorado benefit that provides members with rides when they do not have another way to get to covered health care appointments.
Webinar details
Meeting date and time: Tuesday, December 8, 2026, from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Intended audience: Health First Colorado members.
Registration and location: Register for this virtual Zoom meeting in advance or at the start of the meeting. After registering, you will receive a unique link tied to your registration.
Language access: Spanish interpretation and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be available during the webinar.
Health First Colorado members living outside the nine-county Denver metro area will begin using MediDrive as their NEMT broker on January 1, 2027.
Beginning December 1, 2026, members in these counties will use MediDrive to schedule NEMT rides for covered health care appointments on or after January 1, 2027.
In the webinar, HCPF and MediDrive will explain:
- What is changing and when
- How members will schedule rides with MediDrive
- What members should know and do before the transition
- How to use MediDrive’s member app and online portal
- Where members can get help and additional information
Members will also have an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar.
If you are unable to attend, the meeting recording and available materials will be posted to the NEMT webpage after the meeting.
